I sent an email to both. If it falls on deaf ears, at least my voice was recorded...twice.
Dear Ms. Barrow,
I am sure you are aware of a great atrocity going on at your school. You are in a great position to do something honorable about preserving the right of students to honor one of the greatest symbols of our great country, our American flag.
America has a beautiful symbol, our flag. It has been noted: “High school students told to remove American flags from trucks”. Seriously? From an American School? Since when has an American school become a communist atrocity? Come to your senses; stop feeding lies to our American children. This is just outrageous. Students should be saluting our flag with respect, honor, and courage. We need to educate children to be honorable, outstanding citizens who pledge allegiance to 1st, God, and also our flag and to the United States of America. Our forefathers would roll over in their grave to see this conduct coming from people who call themselves educators and administrators. Please educate yourselves on our beautiful flag and what it represents. Please show America that you will stand up with courage against haters who want to destroy this great country and the great symbols that represent it. God bless America.
