Changes are coming to MSM.
MSM newsies will soon start having “Meetings with The Suits.”
Remember, journalists do not control networks, The Suits do. The profit-oriented business people, the accountants, the sales division, heavy investors, the “Board.”
FNC ratings v. MSM ratings, combined with Trump’s “ratings” are going to cause the news divisions to be called before the people who really matter, “The Suits.”
The Suits are smart guys, often totally apolitical. They would donate money to Franco of Spain for a 3% increase in stock prices. They also read spreadsheets and tea leaves very well.
Meeting will begin with something like “Hey, Schmucks. How come you far left news types are costing us so much money, and driving away viewers. You need an effing telegram? Wake up. The viewers like Trump. You work for us, not the other way around..... “
It may come in a month. It may come in a year. It’s coming to at least one network who will want to distance itself from the other two.
