Romney had power and we see how he used it. Trump is an arch-capitalist with vision, so what he said as a "player" means much less than what he says as someone who obviously wants to fix the country.

Yes. Because a billionaire television star has no power whatsoever. He couldn't have run for mayor of New York City and exercised power there. He couldnt have run for governor of NYS zone exercised power there.

Poor powerless Donald. He was such a weakling.

And yet we are supposed to believe this poor, powerless, person has the ability to be president.

Are you really trying to make an argument based on fatuous hyperbole that is, for all intents and purposes, correct?

He coulda, woulda, shoulda done many things that might have made you more comfy, but he didn't.

I, personally, have much more confidence in him being able and willing to do what he says than ANY of the other candidates: Cruz included.
