Trump is a catalyst in this game. So far he is doing really well.
Personally I’m going to love it when all those bashing Trump supporters come around later and need our cooperation and want our votes......
Because I don’t bash Cruz or Walker or their supporters. Ok, I bash Jeb but that’s because I have some brain cells still firing.
Going to be interesting.
Here’s a question that just popped into my mind. Why would Cruz tell the other candidates this? Why wouldn’t he just keep this advice to himself and benefit by it? Think about it.
Like the man said. Cruz is a wise man.
I pray not.
Me too.
Nice sentiment, but this is not a football game. The stake and future of the nation are on the line with this election. We cannot write off a “bad season”, or trade/bench the POTUS if they fumble the ball a few times. It’s not that easy.
Yes, I do want the guy who is out to cripple the others trying, because they will be the strongest one to do the job.
It is my hope to earn the support of the supporters for every other candidate in 2016.
Google Hit Map
If Hillary is the nominee, I could see Trump / Fiorina. She offsets Hillary and a “Bring Business Back to the U.S.” Type slogan would be an easy sell.
Cruz, however, virtually guarantees the base to show up which Trump might need.
Either is fine, Cruz is my preference.
Yeah, but why give this advice to the other candidates if he really wants to win this thing for himself? Or is he just being a team player?
He’s also young. Being a young vp is a good way to becoming President.
Its not wise to advise the other candidates of this if you want to win it for yourself. Unless...?
I don’t need to fill in the blank.
Well, I don’t see any foul or downside at all. Cruz will be fine.
Yes Cruz has all the time in the world.
Cruz is a man of integrity. He’s also one of the most brilliant candidates with which our country has ever been blessed.
It just doesn’t make sense, that’s all. There’s only two reasons to ever show your cards. 1)to entice a fold. 2) collusion.
And I will agree with everyone that Cruz is not stupid.
The headline is misleading. Cruz said not to attack, vilify, smack or show contempt and condescension to Trump and/or his supporters.
That’s not the same thing as criticizing. Although Cruz doesn’t even seem to be criticizing Trump at this point, I wouldn’t agree that’s a good strategy going all the way into the primaries. Gingrich’s primary strategy was not to criticize other Republicans. When the attack ads started against him, he lost.
Cruz did also say that this week that the time may come when he draws clear policy distinctions between himself and Trump.
So you think the republicans being used by the media to attack each other is a good thing.
Sorry, I don’t, and I don’t think it advances the cause.
The proof I, Huck, and Cruz said are correct is looking at how damaged the Perry campaign is.
Reagan called it his “11th Commandment”.
Huck’s analogy was a “down home” way of saying that.
He’s the smartest guy in most rooms he walks into.
Once again, CRUZ proves his brilliance.
