The PGA is overwhelmingly republican. Most people want to keep the money they make and golfers, especially world class golfers, make a lot of money. Here’s a list of well known golfers, then a list of athletes, who are probably republican.

One of the reasons they live in Texas and Florida is the no state income tax. Say what you want about Tiger Woods but that was one of the first things he did when he started winning and one of the reasons he rarely plays in the tournaments in California unless it is a major.

Of course all of the states with income tax devised the scheme that pro sports and their athletes must pay out of state income taxes on the moneys they earn when they play games in those states.

agreed goes without saying, my point was just that Phil is not necessarily any more conservative than Tiger, both are A political to an extent.
