I don’t think he should be flagged. That’s the Fed’s doing. With that being said, after watching the video, the border security were pretty civil to him. And asking about Trump sounded more like morbid curiosity than persecution.

Those questions didn’t come out of thin air. His file has been flagged and obviously contains some sort of brief about his political activities so that any and every Customs agent will know about it when they pull up his file. They apparently take that as a cause to harass him. However ‘gentle’ their harassment might be that’s a very chilling message they’re sending.
I agree. The agents were not being jerks. Some agent put a “check him” on his profile and so that is what they do. An administrative agent made it a pain for him to enter the country because of O’keefes previous actions. Not a very big surprise and not that big of a deal either.
