Trump responded last night on Breitbart that there would be no funds for planned parenthood as long as they did abortions. In other words, he flip flopped. In the period of a day.
This sounds like one of two things:
- It could be that it sounds a bit like Willard...who was pro-life until he decided to run for Mass. office, became pro-abortion until he decided to run for national office and then magically had a revelation and became pro-life (so which one was he really?). OR
- He walked back what he said earlier in that very same day to CNN. It's very clear: starting about 6:15 and going at 7:15. He says that he's sure they do some things properly and good. (6:41). He clearly says he'd not fund the abortion part but that he'd "take a look at" funding what they do well.
I'm glad he walked it back. But he can't un-say what he said. Regardless of what an apologist working at Breitbart or an apologist at Free Republic would like to believe.
