It doesn’t change her basic argument: The communications were not classified when she sent/received them. At worst she will be shown to have poor judgment.

Well, maybe the new stuff DOES knock out her argument. The posted letter says they contained classified information when transmitted. Hmmm....

Bull. She WAS THE SOS! The senior classifier. No one should know more than her what’s classified or not.

(a) National Security Information (hereinafter “classified information”) shall be classified at one of the following three levels:

(1) “Top Secret” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause exceptionally grave damage to the national security.

(2) “Secret” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause serious damage to the national security.

(3) “Confidential” shall be applied to information, the unauthorized disclosure of which reasonably could be expected to cause damage to the national security.

The communications were not classified when she sent/received them...
......................

I’ve read this, that they were not marked as classified at the time. Classic Clintonian parsing.

I believe that #2 disputes your claim. It mentions that the information was classified at the time the emails were originated.

"It doesn’t change her basic argument: The communications were not classified when she sent/received them"

In a normal world that would not matter. Whether the emails were stamped and controlled is irrelevant.

The information itself was classified.

To get TS/SCI you have to be thoroughly briefed, when you leave the job, thoroughly debriefed.

You also sign an official acknowledgement and are warned that unauthorized disclosure will result in prosecution under US Code xyz, punishable by up to 50 years in prison.

Purposeful release to a foreign government (spying) is punishable by up to death.

Uh, no.

She was Secretary of State.  Anyone with a higher IQ than a box of hammers would know that the SoS will get classified documents. Her claim of "I didn't know" doesn't hold even the smallest semblance of truth or reality.

Bold faced lie. That information was classified upon origination.

The 2nd paragraph from the above IG letter seems to debunk that theory.

The inclusion of satellite imagery destroys this argument. The source and method (the satellite) dictates the classification, not what is in the picture.

Same thing for signals intelligence.

Her only hope is to claim Huma had access to here system and sent the emails.
