WASHINGTON (AP) — The FBI has taken possession of thumb drives containing Hillary Clinton's emails, some of which have been deemed to contain highly sensitive classified information, according to a U.S. official briefed on the matter.

The official was not authorized to be quoted publicly and spoke on condition of anonymity.

Clinton's lawyer, David Kendall, turned over the emails after the FBI determined that he could not remain in possession of the classified information, the official said. The State Department previously had said it was comfortable with Kendall keeping the emails at his Washington law office.

Those thumb drives will be as incriminating as the nuke plant soil samples Iran will give the inspectors.

Now that it’s proven that she has top secret emails on it, I don’t see how a personal lawyer could continue to hold it. She should probably be arrested for giving it to him in the first place now.

“A spokesman for Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign says she has directed that the personal email server she used while serving as secretary of state be given to the Justice Department.”

LOL. So Loretta Lynch owns HRC for the time being. If Lynch wants to stay AG in an HRC administration, that creates some interesting scenarios. All fraught with danger for all involved.

Given how she has always considered herself above the law and wanted all her own records kept secret..it is hardly a surprise that she tried to do the same thing while at State. She just couldn’t stand the idea of anyone having access to her corrupt communications.

Back when I was in the Navy we had detailed log books that documented the chain of custody of every classified messaged we received. And a cross-cut shredder for every one we destroyed. Guess they don’t do that any more?

THE FBI HAS TAKEN POSSESSION of Hillary Clinton's emails located on her private server, including a few deemed to contain classified information: Iowa Republican Sen. Chuck Grassley says two of the emails were deemed 'Top Secret, Sensitive Compartmented Information' — one of the government's highest classifications.

If she wasn't a Clinton she would be in jail by now.

I have served in the DoD for thirty seven years. If I was found with ONE Top Secret document, or knew of anyone having one, there would be no lawyer trying to keep the Military Police from dragging me to the stockade until it was all figured out. Every single person I know, from three star Generals down, would be escorted out of the building to a nice place were they could sit and think about their future. Even Petraus had to give it up and he had a lot of political power behind him and there were no TS documents too boot.

If Hillary Clinton gave classified information to David Kendall, a private citizen with no security clearance, couldn't she be prosecuted for that?

If I recall correctly, there is no statute of limitations for divulging classified information. Of course, that is for mere mortals like you and me, not Hillary.

Yes. In my reserve center we had an inside brick room that was always locked where we received and stored our classified documents. We’ve obviously fallen a long way.

Notice how the story as originally published has suddenly been edited down. Somebody at the AP must have gotten a nasty call.
