Well Hewitt is hardley a RINO. But then again he is not, Not A RINO either (no, that's not a typo - just a difficult concept). There is worse than Hewitt. Much worse. And since we have very few supporters in the media we can't throw him under the bus right now. Maybe after the debate but not now.
OTOH, I really don't trust his judgment. Too often it leans to the RINO side. So I'm willing to give him a "wait and see" until after the next debate. I'm swayed a bit in his favor because at one time he predicted Ted Cruz would win the GOP nomination if not the Presidency.
I usually like Hugh Hewitt. I thought he would adopt a wait and see attitude. I was very disappointed in him.
He’s an annoying host who I have to listen to sometimes when driving home and baseball is on the competing talk station. But he has been very fair to Cruz and praised him often from what I picked up.
