These types of protests(blocking traffic) usually reduces support rather than increases it.

Wow, that body slam was a classic. That will leave a lasting memory.
As far as "plowing through" it's all hyperbole. The driver had the right of way, the protesters were illegally obstructing the interstate public roadway. They do not enjoy the designation of pedestrians as pedestrian are specifically banned on interstate highways. Signs all over the entrance ramps clearly delineate that.
IMO, the driver cautiously proceeded as the illegal protesters got out of his way. I'll bet though, many of the protesters now have imaginary injuries.

My Excursion with a 7.3 PSD is 14 years old now, so I don't really care about dents or scratches anymore. I'd be more than happy to run blocker for the people. Let's see how many protesters it would take to stop 4 tons of "station wagon".
