“Wow.

I’m a born-again Spirit-filled believer and have wondered sometimes why I love Trump so much. I don’t agree with his tariff economic “solutions” and wonder about his stand on certain other things, but Trump is a weapon in the culture war as much as the political war. His hatred of and attack on political correctness (the disguised spirit of anti-Christ) is a welcome relief.

You know, God can use anyone. The lesson in Daniel is God, not man, raises up and takes down kings and kingdoms. God used Nebuchadnezzar BEFORE Nebuchadnezzar came to believe. I believe Trump in the same way will become a believer (but I hope he doesn’t have to go insane to get there).”

Jim 0216, you just described ME AND A LOT OF OTHER CHRISTIANS I KNOW! We are all nonplussed that we find this lovable rascal so refreshingly acceptable. I hope it lasts.

When I thought of your screen name, I thought of James 2:16, (KJV) “And one of you say unto them, Depart in peace, be ye warmed and filled; notwithstanding ye give them not those things which are needful to the body; what doth it profit?”

I rue the day that government has made it so difficult for us to intervene like that. We still try to, as much as we can, anyway. It is touchy, and requires tremendous Holy Spirit guidance!

Hmmm, James 2:16. Never thought of that.

Well, James is not my favorite book, but I do think that generous people are happy people and I want to be happy.

:)
