In a fiefdom, the lord is obligated to protect the land and the serfs in exchange for their service. Our government does not do that anymore....

Nor should they. We don't serve the government. The Founders had the exact opposite in mind.

smh. That wasn’t the point. We are already a fiefdom. If you want to earn money, you have to pay for people who don’t work, you have to pay for studies to discover the perfect dildo size, you have to pay to make Elon Musk rich on green power boondoggles, you have to pay to murder babies, etc. The feudal lord already exists. DC does not care what you or I think. We have no representation in Washington. We elect those who promise to work for us, and they wind up working for Obama even before they are sworn in.

Rand Paul is “concerned” about a fiefdom, but it is already here and it is a despotic fiefdom that does not perform the basic functions of the lord of a fiefdom.

The nation that the founders created is long-dead. Ben Franklin knew what would happen when he answered, “A Republic, if you can keep it.” We didn’t keep it. We handed it over to people who think with their reproductive parts, to people with a Third-world “zero sum” mentality, and to sexual deviants (which includes heterosexual fornicators and adulterers). They did not want a Republic.
