It won't happen. The GOPe would never go along with giving it to Cruz. They hate him too.
They hate Cruz more, because he is relentless, principled, and knows what he's doing. That makes Trump a stalking horse, and frankly, I don't think he really believes half of what he says. If he wasn't, he never would have got so much air time.
