That whole reasoned with thing is a farce. The bureaucrat has this over a normal person:

1. They cannot be fired and therefore their job performance is not relevant to you.

2. Their real boss is their political sponsor which may be a person, company or industry, not you the ‘client’.

3. Their errors are costless and therefore they have no incentive to change or improve.

4. They operate by force either passive or aggressive.

Americans should be infuriated that some nobody can force them to live how that nobody wants them to. If a private citizen did what government does we’d convict them of extortion, blackmail, assault and battery, theft, criminal conspiracy, etc. Why give them a pass?

Yes, why give them a pass?

But what do we do. We tried the ballot box... it does not work.

I think we are all reluctant to face the truth and if we did we have been conditioned to reject the action the truth requires.
