Businessman Donald Trump remains the leader in the race for the GOP presidential nomination in the wake of the first debate, a new NBC/Survey Monkey poll shows.
Businesswoman Carly Fiorina, widely touted as the winner of the earlier "happy hour" debate of the lower-tiered candidates also got good news. She rose six points up to 8 percent – enough to put her in fourth place. If that trend continues in other polls she would earn a spot in the next GOP debate in September between the top 10 candidates.
The poll was conducted during a 24-hour period overnight Friday into Saturday morning while controversy raged over Trump's debate exchanges with Fox News moderator Megyn Kelly and his remarks about her later. That also was coupled with RedState chief Erick Erickson's decision to disinvite Trump to speak to the RedState Gathering on Saturday.

Trump is an accident waiting to happen. Cruz, on the other hand, I could live with easily.
More emphatically, surveyed online monkeys agree.
The other politicians are not speaking out against China, Mexico, illegals and their crimes because the other politicians are owned by China and the establishment. Trump is not owned and is the only one speaking about against China, illegals, Mexico, “hillary is a criminal” , illegals’ crimes etc.

Not only have the politicians not said anything but never done anything only the opposite voted for obama trade(Trojan horse for immigration).
The public stopped paying attention to his slanted polls.

There are no perfect candidates, but there is something to like about every single one of them.
Personally, I’d love to see all of them still in contention right up until the convention.
That would be making the best use of our so-called “deep bench”.
It is to remember too the Founding Fathers were a team.
Trump is breaking the politically correct glass ceiling and the shards of glass are falling on the F..ked-up media.
But the driveby media said Kasich won the debate?!
I am utterly shocked by these changes..in a very happy way. I would have predicted a slight bump for Cruz, Walker and possibly Christie, a huge bump for Rubio, and the rest about the same. I love seeing Jeb drop. Shocked it wasn’t in the direction of Rubio. FL people seem to be zeroed in on getting behind one of the two when I talk to them. Love seeing Cruz gain that much, especially with so few minutes of time. Also surprised to see Kasich unaffected. I thought he was really good the other night...even with his crappy weaseling out on Medicaid. There is good hope for Cruz here. Excited to see him gain like that, especially with such little opportunity.
Carly went up much more, relatively speaking, than Cruz in this questionable poll.

My first reaction to this poll was the same as yours. It’s an online, volunteer participation poll. That looks questionable on the face of it.
But digging a little deeper indicates to me that the poll, while probably less accurate than the big national polls, is not far off. Their pre-debate numbers pretty much jive with the national polls. So I’m betting this one will be close as well. We should know in a few days.
He said the same sex marriage debate is over. He paid the price -33%. LOL
Fox will take hours to come up with a spin strategy. Murdoch, Ailes and all the bubble headed bleach blondes are in a conference call as we speak.
As I anticipated Jeb and Scotty fading once the public gets a good look.

It’s great seeing ¡Jebbie! and Kasich falling and Cruz climbing.
But but but Luntz’s Dunces said they all dropped their support for Trump. How come he went up a point? Are you saying Luntz’s Dunces don’t reflect real people? Whaaaa?
