One Jacques Abbadie made a very familiar statement in French, which loosely translated, comes to: "You can fool all of the people some of the time and you can fool some of the people all of the time. However, you can not fool ALL of the people all of the time." This statement has been mistakenly attributed to Abraham Lincoln.
Perhaps we are finally experiencing an awakening where almost all of the people can no longer be fooled. The elites and leftists have deliberately destroyed the educational system in order to leave the populace unable to process thought and determine that those people have deceived them and are enriching themselves unjustly at the ignorant public's expense. When one pays for an item and it is worth half or less than what you paid for it the minute you walk out of a retail estblishment, you have been ripped off...no two ways about it. It is good for capitalism to exist and for profit to be made, but not exorbitant profit which amounts to gouging.
When we see obvious manipulation of fuel prices and the stock market and nothing is done to correct it, we KNOW corruption causes that. When the cost of living spirals upward out of control with fees every time one buys a batter, tires or oil, something is wrong. Corruption masquerading as "Political Correctness" causes unnecessary expenses to the already impoverished public. When you see the poor unable to keep a car on the road because of excessive regulation, overly strict inspection rules (check engine light on when the car only has a minor problem) and environmental controls, you know the time has come for some REAL change.
When we wake up and suddenly realize the lower class people are all being manipulated to provide a king-like living to the upper strata of society just because they got a business going, they work for the government or because they paid someone off to make sure the money flows in a huge way to them, then it is time for something to break. This is NOT an anti-business rant. Business is a necessary thing, but not corrupt business. When an auto manufacturer builds a vehicle that is so complicated or designed in such a way as to force the consumer to use high-dollar mechanics to repair it or have specialized knowledge to change the headlight bulb, we have a problem.
We have a serious flaw in society when a large part of construction costs of a house can be attributed to government overregulation of all materials and procedures used to build that home. We are being reamed out financially when the healthcare industry has excessive cost due to the same government regulation plus free care for illegals. Agriculture too is burdened with government regulations to the point where costs are ballooning out of control.
Our lives are becoming micromanaged to the degree that we almost can breathe anymore for fear of facing a fine for having bad breath. It all has to stop. Now. A huge number of people in the nation are being awakened by people like Rush Limbaugh, Hannity, Ward, Beck and yes, even Donald Trump. The corrupt ones, leftists, elites and the bought-and-paid-for media are trying to stop them, but can't. Now, the people are beginning to rise up and they are REALLY angry about what's been going on.
What will happen next? Who knows.
