My interpretation of the deviant comment is that it was a joke. Even it it wasn’t, Trump is a clever man and he is just responding with in-kind replies.
Regardless, the MSM is reporting that Trump was referring to Kelly's menstrual cycle. I just watched the CBS Evening news and they went on and on about the attack, the Red State withdrawn invitation, and the condemnation of Trump by his fellow candidates. They did not read Trump's press release on the issue. However, they did promote Trump's appearance on their Sunday show.
Trump is being condemned for something he didn't say. And they use an edited portion of the interview as evidence as to what Trump meant by those out of context words. They are the ones interpreting what is meant based on their agenda. The simplest and objective way to determine what Trump meant by those remarks is to ask him. Trump responded with what was meant and it is not accepted because they and Carly and Jeb and Rand know what he meant. This is Kafkaesque.
