I don’t think you understand the support for Trump. No one thinks he’s a great conservative, I’m pretty sure. We all know his past. He’s not a life long card carrying Republican (like Bush, McConnell, Bohener, etc). But most feel we’re going to get a another sacrificial spineless punching bag to be served up on a platter to the Clinton Machine. And we’ll lose again.
So why not support a former Dem, with an admittedly shaky past, who will at the very least go down with all guns blazing and torch the corrupt media cartel and both parties, while educating the apolitical types about political corruption.
He may not be a conservative, but he is:
1) Competent
2) Angry
3) Fed up with political correctness
4) Fed up with America going down the drain
5) Fed up with other countries kicking America around
6) Fed up with jobs being sent to third world countries and third world countries sending their citizens here to take American Jobs.
I could go on. I want an angry, competent President who loves America. Conservatism usually follows from there.
Rowdy Roddy Piper is dead, but his most memorable line was: "I came here to chew bubble gum and kick ass and I'm all out of bubble gum."
We need a president like that.
Exactly, I support Trump, but I’m not blind to the fact that he’s no conservative hero.
