Two days ago a car jounced over the curb striking a friend on the sidewalk and breaking his leg in three places. This necessitated a hospital stay and surgery. I don’t know how it has come out, but he’s still in the hospital on morphine.
The driver, a twenty-seven year old white male, was arrested. Two lives have been changed forever so the driver could text LOL.
A couple years ago I was rear ended by a young woman (23) at 45 mph. I was stopped and waiting for a turn. She was texting.
