Maybe if more people like you would get behind him, he would.
Even if he only serves as a kind of secular John the Baptist to someone like Ted Cruz, he will have filled an admirable role. High polling doesn’t necessarily mean ultimate choice as president, only that we like what he is saying in that space.
I don’t think anybody here is against Cruz. But he has some work to do. He barely made it into the debate. He isn’t really a threat to Bush and that’s what it is all about.
Cruz has base support and is raising enough money to be this for the long run. When it’s down to Cruz and some MSM pick like Bush, Cruz will steal it away.
