Good post. I do agree in a multi-candidate debate we should get broader questions that everyone can be asked rather than questions targetting a specific candidate’s record. One targetted question per candidate would’ve been enough.

Of course, the first question was asked of everybody and it’s not the moderators’ fault that Trump was the odd man out about not running 3rd party.

I didn’t have any problem with the first question. It was fair, and Trump should have been prepared for it. He could have given an explanation of why he might not, and what he means by unfair. He wasted an opportunity.
