Two days ago, David Harris of the AJC came out with a reasoned position not to accept the deal and urged Congress to do the same. Once the AJC nixed the deal, I knew Schumer would have to back out of support.
Of course, behind the scenes, he's lobbying every Democrat to support the deal.

I don't care for Schumer's politics as a general rule but his take on this horrible Iranian 'deal' is based on conviction.
Schumer's standing with Israel and with most of the American people - democrats and Republicans... but against his own party's elites. That can't be easy - it's courage...
Good for Schumer. He's right on this one.

Exactly right. He’s telling them he can’t do it but they can, and they must support the deal. The fix is in and Chuckie is having it both ways. Win-win for him.
