From the horse race point of view, I rank the candidates' performances in the following order:

Winners: Cruz Huckaby Rubio Kasich Christie Walker

Losers: Trump Bush Paul Carson

I only saw the second half of the debate tonight, and then some clips from the first half.

The five who I thought did the best: Cruz, Rubio, Walker, Huckabee, Carson. (Carson is very likeable and a good man, but I don't think he's prepared to be President.)

The two who I thought were . . . meh: Bush, Christie

The three who I think did poorly and I would have a hard time voting for: Kasich, Paul, Trump
