How could he do well with those questions. That first hit piece about pledging not to run independent was just horrible.
Don’t insult others that don’t have the same opinion as you. Really? Sheeple? Although I’ve seen it many times over the years here - That’s a first for me personally on FR. How about lightening up a bit? We’re all on the same side, are we not? I was simply stating my observation. I had high hopes for Trump tonight. I was disappointed. That’s my opinion. On what? He was never asked question about how he would do anything if he were to become president, and in fact he was never asked a question that didn't first have personal attack set up which he had to take up precious time trying to knock it down.

AND it was hard watching Trump....Carson did well and so did Ribio....but Cruz was rock solid.
Suddenly now on Fox, Trump is a woman hater. Scumbags.

That is absolute nonsense that Cruz doesn’t have to worry about polls or break out right now. Yeah - we will just wait for a miracle to happen and people will eventually drink the koolaid and see the light. Uh huh. It doesn’t happen that way. Crowds and masses respond to buzz and excitement which is why Trump’s poll numbers are so high.
Look — I am a Ted Cruz supporter. In fact he is the only serious candidate I see up there. But he is doing awful in the polls and not even close to where he should be. He needs to gain momentum and thus far he is stagnant with polling in the 5-6% range. That is awful. So thus far I would say he has little chance of doing anything - maybe a cabinet post.
This was the start of the Washington Cartel assault on Trump.
Trump didn’t perform any miracles, but really, anybody supporting him who now says “he’s too mean” is either a a moron or getting paid to say it.
The GOPe must destroy Trump at all costs. Fox News is in the pocket of the GOPe/Chamber of Commerce, and they did what they were ordered to do.
Hopefully there are enough non morons out there to see through it, but I doubt it.
Just my opinion — based on what I saw.
Oh yeah. And again, it is not essential to WIN the debate. There were only a couple of potential knockouts, in my opinion.
People are saying Kasich did well but he knocked himself out of the running for me. No way. I think the Paul, Christie squabble did both candidates some harm. Jeb was not great. But I am coming out of the debate with pretty similar opinions as those I went in with. I think supporters don’t budge that easily. They only inch away little by little. So we will see.
Watching the Kelly file now why does Krauthammer look like a muppet? He has to take a huge breath every half sentence. There’s like an arm up his butt controlling his head.

Trump was arrogant which is OK if he was giving direct answers and backing up his assertions but he was not. He did not do his homework.
I got that feeling too and I agree it didn’t look like Trump did his homework. He needs to be more nimble when he is attacked and pivot with some facts. He can watch how a slickster like Rubio does it. Trump’s attack the MSM shock and awe will only work for so long.
