Some questions come to mind :

1. Do we have a better energy situation in this country since we have had a Dept of Energy?

2. Is the state of public education markedly improved since Jimmy Carter created the Dept of Education???

I’m sure other questions come to mind, as to whether federal intervention in various areas has improved the situation in those areas.
