I didn’t like the officer asking him if he was a constitutionalist. Poor choice of words.

However, the cop did nothing wrong. HE did not pull his gun “on” the guy. He took it out and kept it at his side pointing downward.

The guy making the video was a total idiot for not taking his hand out of his pocket. The officer doesn’t know whether he is armed or not and the guy sounded a bit irrational. If the cop had shot him, it would have been his own fault.

I knew at least one of you would show up.

No one buys that. Come on.

But it sure begs the question; If the homeowner was such a threat why did the cop turn his back on the homeowner several times after all the intimidation which didn't work?

If he was such a threat, why did the cop simply holstered he his weapon then drive away?

This is down right scary stuff.

If you were in your driveway waxing your car or pulling weeds or doing whatever it was with your property...and saw a cop driving around and around and then he gets out and pulls his gun...would you honestly think the same? That he did nothing wrong?

The situation was dire enough that he had to have his gun ready, but not dangerous enough to call for backup?

He’s either a “cowboy” or he meant to intimidate this guy

“He took it out and kept it at his side pointing downward.”

Which is not a standard protocol for use of lethal force.

Someone drawing a weapon is automatically assumed a lethal threat. Pull that crap on me in my driveway and he would not leave alive. Guaranteed. Cops are lousy shots, I’m not and either is the wife.

Do we not have a right to be armed on our own property anymore? So what if I may have a weapon in my pocket, in my driveway? It’s none of the cop’s business, unless he has a damn warrant.

That’s exactly what my friend, who initiated the AZ Citizens Defense League, said.

What questions have I evaded?

One more time just for you.

Begs the question; If the homeowner was such a threat why did the cop turn his back on the homeowner several times after all the intimidation didn't work?

If he was such a threat, why did the cop simply holster his weapon then drive away?

Disagree. We’re not talking about a cop walking in on a robbery or even responding to a complaint (the cop said he was there ‘randomly’).

Without any probable cause, there is no reason for him to draw his gun. If I did this, it’d be called “brandishing a weapon” - and that is only one thing the cop did wrong.

Are you sane? Have you been drinking? Just took a hit?
