Citizen seems to notice a police officer driving around and around his neighborhood while he is working on his boat in his driveway.
Police officer doesn't like being filmed by someone in his own yard and decides to stop and pull gun on him.
“You would have received the death penalty or life without parole for murdering a police officer.”
Say and idiot that has no idea what he is talking about. I highly doubt I’ll ever be taking my legal advice from you.
Depends where you live, though we should have the right to be armed everywhere.
The cop has the authority to tell you to keep your hands where he can see them. All law abiding citizens will immediately comply with such instructions for the safety of all involved. If you fail to do so you are behaving just like a street thug.
Disappointed?
“Are you some kind of Constitutionalists?”
Was the local government socialist some kind of seditionist against our United States Constitution? Looks like a Trump/Hillary fan for big government spending. It’s noticeable, that increasingly more of them also envy and hate prior combat servicemen.
New law in CA.
No putting hands in pockets when standing in your driveway.
Your grandmother is a wise person.
What that looked like to me was two passive-aggressive personalities playing russian roulette. Neither one wanted to be the overt jerk so they both did piddly crap that served to ratchet up tensions between them.
Surprised. I am glad the situation ended peacefully, but I am not sure the officer took proper precautions. Of course, we can’t see the guy’s hand, so it is possible he finally showed it to the officer.
That is all I am asking of the citizen. Show your hands. Tape, argue, rant, sing show tunes, if you want but show your hands.
“”3. Was the police state always this bad, but I was just naive? “
No. It wasn’t. I remember when cops were polite and actually protected and served the public. I knew cops in my youth that had gone 20 years on the force and never had drawn their service revolvers. I knew cops that had never had a partner or another fellow officer shot or involved in a shooting. I remember when cops said “Sir” and “Ma’am” and meant the respect. I remember being taken home after getting caught doing dirty deeds and the cops treating me fairly and with respect. I had respect for them in return.
Now it is just “Them versus Us. The Blue Line!” I have family who are cops and know first hand their deranged mentality. It is total brainwashing. They see every car, person, dog, cat, mouse, hamster, goat, pig, and fly as a potential lethal threat. They are trigger happy paranoids that find reward for shooting things. They have become Army Ranger wannabees. They “tac out” (meaning tactical gear, military gear) as often as they can. They are nerds looking to look cool by acting tough. They are posers, always posing with their weapons and tac gear.
I have no more respect for the police officer profession. None. They have no respect for We the People who pay their paychecks.
Notice though...when he hears youtube he gets in his car and leaves.
I’m surprised the local newspapers don’t seem to have anything about this story.
Regarding video of Rohnert Park Public Safety Officer: Weve been made aware of this matter and we are taking it seriously. We understand the concerns that have been raised by our community and others and we want the public to know that your trust in law enforcement in our City is a top priority. As a result, we will conduct an internal review to verify that appropriate protocols were followed. We will also review our protocols because we want to make sure we are using the best practices for the highest level of safety for both our officers and the community. “Surprised. I am glad the situation ended peacefully, but I am not sure the officer took proper precautions”
Like what, shooting the guy for not showing his hands??
I noted your tagline above.
And after reading your very naive reckless uninformed comments on this thread, I am certainly not surprised.
The puzzle comes together.☺
Btw, feel free to answer my questions you evaded.
You are absolutely right, the guy was afraid for his life from this rogue cop. The cop pointed his finger at him like a gun before he even left the car. It wasn’t exactly the ghetto there either. Sounds like he was trolling the area just to find somebody to eff with and intimidate. No wonder the blacks are starting to open fire on cops.
That’s exactly what my friend, who initiated the AZ Citizens Defense League, said.
“What that looked like to me was two passive-aggressive personalities playing russian roulette. “
What we saw was a deranged cop playing with his gun and threatening a citizen in his driveway. Don’t think anyone but you might be welcoming of such a cop.
Don't be such a turd toad.
We know your posting history. It isn’t a pretty one.
Just like Øbozo when he says, I don’t know the facts” and then proceeds to talk out his butt, you don’t have the slightest idea WTF you’re talking about. But in true thimble-brain fashion that doesn’t stop you from yammering on.
Wow.
Do police, without a warrant, and no probable cause, have the authority to give you orders on your own property?
