Thanks, Mitch.
I sent the following to Durbin and a slightly altered version to Kirk.
I assume that men or women of conscience can disagree on a topic and have a reasonable conversation about it. But when I see that you have voted against defunding the abortion mill that is Planned Parenthood I can only assume you have no conscience. How anyone, especially someone who purports to be Roman Catholic, can look at the videos, read the literature and not come to the conclusion that a human life is being destroyed in the name of convenience masking itself as “women’s health” is incomprehensible.
The only conclusion I can come to is that you have sold yourself to the highest bidder and will not do anything to stop the flow of cash into your pocket so you can maintain your power. You turn a blind eye to what is happening and pretend you are doing the “right thing” for the woman when in fact you do not give a tinkers damn about the woman or the living creature inside her. For you it is all about getting reelected and being important. What a coward.
You know what is right and what is wrong and you refuse to look. This is reminiscent of the burgers in the towns and villages around Dachau. They too knew, yet did nothing.
Think about the video of the tissue...no not tissue! The human beings ripped apart and stirred around in a glass pie plate to be sold to the highest bidder. And when you do, imagine that your own children were once at the same stage of development. Like any good father, you would do anything to protect them, but you do nothing. You have power yet you are afraid to use it to speak for the innocent and defenseless.
My disgust for you only continues to grow. What a pathetic example of a man you are.
I know he will never read it nor even hear about it, but it made me feel just a little better for having sent it.
I am because he changed the procedure, requiring 60 votes. How dumb is that?
Sadly, I expect you are 100% correct. But the masks are now off, and no one can deny it any longer: our government supports this atrocity.
Never heard of him.I don’t know how I missed this.:)

Great letter SPI-MAN.
Would it be possible to pass a law making it illegal for any entity that receives federal funding (or state funding) to be able to make political contributions?
Essentially one half of the country is being taxed to contribute to campaigns of people they would never vote for. This should be illegal!!!!
