Suspect in Memphis Police Officer’s Death Turns Himself In

An ex-convict wanted in Tennessee for the murder of a Memphis police officer turned himself in to the authorities on Monday, law enforcement officials said.

Tremaine Wilbourn, 29, was taken into custody after surrendering to the United States Marshals Office, the Shelby County Sheriff’s Office said.

Toney Armstrong, the Memphis police director, said Mr. Wilbourn, accompanied by a lawyer, turned himself in and was expected to be arraigned on Tuesday in the shooting of Officer Sean Bolton.

It is worth reading the (brief) article, it epitamises what is wrong with the justice system:

"The police said Officer Bolton, 33, was killed after he interrupted a drug deal. After a brief struggle with the officer ... Mr. Wilbourn shot him multiple times and fled."

[By turning himself in, Wilbourn] "wanted to make it a point to say that, one, I am not a cold-blooded killer and, two, I am not a coward." Wrong on both points, of course.

"The driver, who also fled, surrendered to the police ... on Sunday and was later released without charge." Wrong that he was not charged.

"Wilbourn was previously convicted of robbing a banking institution and ... was on supervised release at the time of the shooting." Early release is wrong in almost all circumstances.

An update on the Memphis cop shooting - the perp lawyered up before "turning himself in" to the Feds.

Questions:
How much coaching, and by whom, did he receive?
How is an ex-con affording to lawyer up that quick? (pro bono? doubt it...)

While this is an older stat it is the latest available. And don’t forget government’s fuzzy math, called Hierarchical Counting, Only the most serious crime is counted. If a woman is kidnapped, robbed, raped, then murdered that is 4 crimes. They only count the murder.

Keep in mind the sampling was just 45%, they originally committed 25,900 crimes, when placed on early release under ‘community’ supervision for parole and probation they then committed another 74,400 new crimes. Just adding up the original 45% adds up to 100,300 crimes, and many times more that in victims. As there are multiple people affected when a child is raped or a person murdered.

Double it for 90% and you get 148,800 new crimes and more victims.

This is an older study as there are no newer ones, this gives you a big idea of just how many additional crimes early release of criminals to parole and probation cause.

Memphis has a black mayor, police chief, most of the city council is black, DEM CONTROLLED. Does that give you the picture, they only want black LEO too.

This dirt bag will not be tried in Memphis is the most probable, or the judge will be imported at the least. Tennessee Recidivism stats show blacks do 6 months less time than whites. The local Penal Farm which is a 11 month 29 day facility has a 85% re-offense rate. Most of these inmates have a record of 10-40+ lower grade felonies.

Memphis is known as the crime cesspit of Tennessee.

Not yet, but he is still trying to disinter the graves and get rid of the Monument.

He will have to go to Chancery court to disinter the graves as relatives won’t give permission, and the idiot has to get around this State law. LAW signed by Bill Haslam, Effective as of April 1, 2013 called the “Tennessee Heritage Protection Act”
NO military memorials can be removed including those from the ‘War Between the States’ !
