Theoretically, the election of Barack Obama should show everyone that America is not racist and bigoted and all that.

Reason being, there’s no way any president can get elected without significant support from white voters.

And while some voters may well have voted for McCain and Romney respectively, out of racism, there were also some who voted for Obama specifically due to race.

the point is, America has changed quite a bit in recent decades. While the America of 1950 and 1960 and 1970 would never have elected a minority president, the America of 2008 proved that racial barriers no longer exist for any elective office.

Yet in spite of Obama’s election, we still hear so much bitching about racism and are lectured how black lives matter and all that.

Not only are we lectured on how black lives matter but apparently we are expected to accept that WHITE lives DON’T matter. Of course black lives don’t seem to matter either when blacks are doing the killing.
