Finish I-70 AND I-83. The were both supposed to end at I-95. Also, build the connector from I-70 to the US 40 expressway downtown, thus resurrecting I-170.
Uh uh. 70 would’ve destroyed Leakin Pk and that was a huge sticking point, never mind the great old graveyards that would’ve been hurt. Old St. Paul’s ended up mutilated thanks to the PC MLK as it was. They should have thought it through better before setting the course they did.
