No they are not right. Making this voluntary on the part of corporations will never work. Corporations who don’t lobby for money, competitive advantages and other perks will have their shorts eaten by corporations that do.

The problem is more fundamental. We have to remove government’s power to grant money, competitive advantages and perks. As long as that power exists, it will be abused.

Exactly. Crony fascism. The "you didn't build that" Marxists are pushing too far and some drunk with government businessmen are waking up to see that things don't look as good this morning and down the road.
