The leaks are a certainty. As soon as the first clintonemail.com message reached a Russian, Chinese, Iranian, liberal, or other anti-American recipient, they started hacking her account. It would have been compromised by multiple sources almost immediately, and I suspect it stayed compromised for the entire time she used that unsecured server.

You are undoubtedly right. Within a very few days (like single digit numbers), maybe even hours of her starting to use her personal server foreign intel services no-doubt became aware of it. As soon as it was recognized as a new source/system it would be explored, poked, prodded and probed. It was probably compromised before the first backup was made.

Therein lies the crux of the problem. Of course, now it has been "wiped clean" and I think I read/heard somewhere the drives destroyed. That is unfortunate, intentional, and criminal. With them it might have been possible to examine the system and determine just how badly it was compromised. That it was compromised by one or more foreign intel agencies is virtually certain.
