A new poll finds Donald Trump leading Jeb Bush and Sen. Marco Rubio in their home state of Florida.
The surprise result comes less than a week after another poll found Bush, the states former governor, with a comfortable 12-point lead over Rubio, a GOP senator from the Sunshine state. Trump was 17 points behind Bush in the Maxon-Dixon poll released on Friday.
The new poll, by Florida-based St. Pete Polls, was released on Wednesday and found Trump leading the entire field at 26 percent6 points ahead of Bush.
Conventional wisdom has been that Florida will be dominated by Bush and Rubio.

Gee! There is one surprise after another.
Was Rubio going to run a full campaign or just run in five to ten states?
If you look at this...Rubio’s whole situation requires him to win in Florida or just give up. As for Bush...I think he needs to either fire his staff or find some kinda dirt to hang on Trump.
I believe Rubio drops out of the race fairly shortly. He has to give up his Senate see if he continues his run for president I think he keeps his fantasy
I have about the same degree of faith in “conventional wisdom” as I have in “common sense” and “climate change”
: )
Fantasy equals Senate seat
Great point. Rubio’s career will be over should he not win or at least get the VP nom. I know a lot hate him here but he was a fav when he first went to DC...then downhill fast LOL. Sad in many ways.
Even if he got picked up by Walker or Trump...it’s difficult to even envision him at a cabinet post. He’s not qualified for AG, and I can’t see him at Homeland Security. Six years ago....you could say a lot about the guy, and it just seems like he’s been spinning his wheels and doing more or less nothing for six years. I can’t even see him being a VP for either of the top three guys.
no mas Arubusto!
I think Rubio stays in until after Florida, unless Bush and the Establishment cut him some kind of a deal he cannot refuse.
I’m REALLY surprised at the lack of support Ted Cruz is getting. I would say that Trump is stealing his thunder, but the Media would just ignore Cruz anyway, if Trump weren’t in.
It is simply a given that the Party Infrastructure and GOTV is behind Bush at this point, but that could change FAST if it looks like he will lose Florida to Trump.
I am not sure Boobio has anywhere to go.
Trump is a Florida resident and Boobio has been attacking Trump.
Trump is against Illegals, and Boobio sees the illegals as his voters.
Trump if he wants to can PAC Boobio to death.
Boobio is all talk and most of it sounds like Dem talk.
IMHO..I also believe that Mr.Rubio will soon decide to spend more time with his family and in doing so will be able to keep his public role as a US Senator and survive to run another day;always plan B and C.
A different poll from the one earlier with Trump winning...
Couldn’t find link to check internals, but it is 500 registered voters...not likely voters, not Republican voters...
This poll is garbage
The more garbage like you attacks Trump the more we like him, troll.
Yes yes he will continue his sacrificial public service
“Conventional wisdom” is MSM speak for “elite-think”.
it's a very large sample size 1,900+ for a state.
It's pretty legit.

"The voters polled were chosen at random within the registered voter population within the state of Florida. The random sample used was made up of a sampling of registered Republican party voters from the state of Florida.
The scientific results shown for the questions below have a sample size of 1,902 and a 2.2% Margin of Error at a 95% confidence level."

Strictly considering the phoney factor of Bush and Rubio, how could Trump not beat them in their own state?
Wow...VERY thoughtful and cogent response from a belligerent Trump supporter.
I posted an article. Glad to know that instead of reading, your extensive intellect revolves around gutter politics and name-calling.
LOL.
Sorry, I responded to an article...now, prove me wrong.
