Interesting thought. The biggest flaw on Gilligan's Island that made it deviate from reality, is that Thurston and Lovey didn't immediately seize power and start controlling every aspect of island life.
Although I do note there were no pregnancies, so perhaps they got an airdrop from Planned Parenthood.

I heard the Skipper and Gilligan were... Well, let’s just say they would applaud the Supreme Court’s affirmation of Gay Marriage.
The professor spent too much time in the lab around the radium samples and no longer shoots live ammo.

I thought that was a main feature of the show, and a very funny one — suddenly here’s this millionaire stuck with all of these people and his money is no good. He tries to buy everything and everyone but it never works. Hilarity ensues.
