Maybe she is the most beautiful woman he has ever seen. Maybe she's borne him children, and stuck with him through thick and thin, and been a loving partner and trustworthy wife through sorrow and joy, success and failure, and makes him feel like the happiest and luckiest man on earth.
That looks like a real kiss, as far as I'm concerned. Don't knock it. Love is important in this world.
