"how you use it or abuse it is between God and the Devil and your conscience"
And the State you live in.
Everyone in a society of "Ordered Liberty" has responsibility to their neighbors.

And if Cruz made these comments and not Christie - then what would all you pro-dopers do? Or do you really believe Ted will be 420 friendly?
Ted has said precisely the opposite: that states have the right to legalize pot (which he views as a mistake on their part, but one they must remain free to make).
Now what will all you pro-statists do?

Welcome to FR, both of you.
FR, Where divergent views intersect in the darnedest place and in the darnedest ways.
one could argue breathing and trolling is an addiction for some as well.
No one is in favor of drug abuse here, btw.
so get off your ‘high’ horses. ;-)

Is dope smoking really a freedom?

Stop me if you’ve heard this one before:
The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constititution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.

Probably be much better off if he cracked down on his own personal consumption of donuts and pizzas. Yeah I don't want my ObamaCare dollars to pay for this guy's next four coronary bypasses.

No need to welcome CF, there Normie.
He’s a retread troll who’s been here for years posting his pro-dope rhetoric. He’s been zotted before, but now he’s back even worse than before and JimRob looks the other way.

I'm pretty sure the people of Texas can sort that out without the help of we Californians.

I detest the trend of legalization of marijuana in certain states but that's a state's rights issue. Right or wrong, they should be able to decide on legalization for their own state.
Christie wanting to override the states tells me that he is unfit to be president.

I despise the new public dope smokers even here in my state where it's illegal. They have become quite common. Hardly a day goes my where I'm not breathing in their skunky, dopey smoke, in parks, at stop lights and from neighboring houses. [emphases added]
"Neighboring houses" are "public"?

"Neighboring houses" are "public"?From neighboring houses into public spaces and into other people's private spaces.
As I said....
To: FreeReign
It's odd to say the least to define "public smoking" as "any smoking I can smell."
