probably libs making the calls, to make pro life look bad.
A restaurant down here is doing a fund-raiser for the Susan Koman Foundation. I posted on their site that I would not be there supporting the Koman foundation as long as it contributed to Planned Parenthood.
Depends on how they are defining "threats".
'I am no longer going to patronize your shop' would be 'threatening' to the shop owner.
Likewise, 'You are going to burn in hell if you support these baby murderers and don't change your ways' could also be construed as a threat (or statement of fact).
