"If we must have an enemy at the head of Government, let it be one whom we can oppose, and for whom we are not responsible, who will not involve our party in the disgrace of his foolish and bad measures." - Alexander Hamilton |
|
"We don't intend to turn the Republican Party over to the traitors in the battle just ended. We will have no more of those candidates who are pledged to the same goals as our opposition and who seek our support. Turning the Party over to the so-called moderates wouldnt make any sense at all." -- President Ronald Reagan |

"A thing moderately good is not so good as it ought to be. Moderation in temper is always a virtue; but moderation in principle is always a vice." - Thomas Paine 1792 |
|
"It does not take a majority to prevail, but rather an irate, tireless minority, keen on setting brushfires of freedom in the minds of men." - Samuel Adams |
|
"If ye love wealth better than liberty, the tranquility of servitude better than the animating contest of freedom, go home from us in peace. We ask not your counsels or your arms. Crouch down and lick the hands which feed you. May your chains set lightly upon you, and may posterity forget that you were our countrymen." - Samuel Adams |

Brit Hume is pulling for Jeb Bush.

I saw the same report and lost ALOT of respect for Brit. He was so condescending that the snark was palpably dripping from his lips.

Britt Hume is a member of The Ministry Of Propaganda.
They are all employees of The Cheap Labor Express.
It’s all about keeping The Cheap Labor Express running.
I lost all respect for Hume when it became evident that he was bought and paid for by The Cheap Labor Express.

They all want to attack Cruz and avoid answering the question of whether Yertle lied.

I never had any.
Brit Hume is an idiot.
And then after him, some fat, dumb blonde creature came on and started making some sort of sounds, and that’s when I realized the TV had been left on the wrong channel, so I shut it off.

I haven’t watched FOX news in over a year, one: I can’t and won’t pay for cable (they are a rip-off) so I don’t really know what they are like anymore, but when I was watching, I noticed they were going to the dark side (liberal) and have wondered if this is the case...
After reading what Brit Hume had to say, glad I saved my money for something I really enjoy, I hear enough of the dark side just being in the grocery store...lol...

Brit Hume is the most arrogant, know-it-all in the room. Unless Chris Wallace and Bill O’Reilly and Megan Kelly are also in the room. Then it’s a toss-up. I haven’t much respect for any of them.
To: SoConPubbie
I watched it at the time and my impression was he was just stating an opinion, not an “attack”. If he’d said a similar thing about Hillary, would you have thought it was an attack? Lots of commentators have a cynical perspective and look for political motives where they may or may not be present.

I’d feel better about Cruz’s indignation and public calling out of his leadership if he himself hadn’t lied to us about the ObamaTrade.

Mark Levin said on his show last night that “his favorite cable news network’s” ratings would “plummet” if they kept on going the way they were going.
Mark Levin is correct.

I started losing respect for Brit in 05, after loving his work since 2000.
By 2007 late, it was ALL GONE...and he’s only swirled lower since.
