BALTIMORE Fourteen people were shot, including three fatally, since Friday night in Baltimore City, police said.
The most recent homicide occurred around 7:45 p.m. Sunday when a man was shot multiple times in the chest in the 5500 block of Rubin Avenue.
Police said the man was taken to an area hospital, where he died. Anyone with information on this case is asked to call police at 410-396-2100.
A 22-year-old man was found shot in the buttocks around 11:40 p.m. Sunday in the 4300 block of Adelle Terrace. Police said the shooting took place in the unit block of South Athol Avenue. The victim was taken to the hospital and is in stable condition.
Also Sunday, police said a man walked into a hospital around 5 p.m. with a gunshot wound to the buttocks.
A man was then shot in the shoulder around 7:30 p.m. Sunday in the 2300 block of Druid Hill Avenue. He was taken to the hospital for treatment.
Police have not announced any arrests for the weekend shootings.
Got to give Baltimore some credit for stepping up to the plate and trying to catch Chicago. Maybe one of these weekends they will do it.
