Full Disclosure: I like McD’s burgers and fries a few times a month. Their basic menu still has a most unique taste and smell. I recall the first time I smelled a McD’s bag of food, back in the early 60’s. I was mystified. I was fascinated. I was (suddenly) hungry! It was for my Dad though. We kids were NOT allowed to beg or even hint at begging from other people.

I remember the 15 cent hamburgers and the 20 cent shakes. Back when I was going to school and working. At night, when we had done what we were supposed to do the crew would stop at a McDonalds and eat 15 cent hamburgers and French fries, and drink milkshakes. we would open the hamburgers up and put the French fries in them. Your reply triggered some old pleasant memories.
