You are correct so I withdraw my Obama comment. And, if the Powerline snippet below is correct the switch to the GOP in 2009 makes no sense. I can't figure this guy out. But I struggle to get pumped up about someone who was a registered Democrat just a few years ago.

In truth, Trump is a natural Democrat. His views on major issues are — or were until recently — standard-issue liberal.
