But, he wasn’t living in Indonesia at the time .. he was living in America. Therefore, all he had to do was say he was born in a foreign country - even if he didn’t live there anymore.
Remember, the left loves to bestow it’s perks on foreigners .. it’s just Americans they don’t like.
Yes, Obama attended The Punahou School in Hawaii from 5th grade through senior year of high school.
There is no advantage to just saying you’re a foreign student unless you are applying for financial aid and if you are applying for foreign aid, you need to have a student visa.
Also, college transcripts don’t identify students by whether they are international students or American citizens. Transcripts only list courses, grades/ grade point average and current address.
It is possible that Obama got a scholarship for Kenyan students or Indonesian students because of his Kenyan father and Indonesian step-father. You don’t have to actually be from Kenya or Indonesia, you just have to have that heritage and ancestry.
Here’s a link to scholarships for Irish students that makes that point:
“Irish scholarships are for students with Irish ancestry or heritage. These types of scholarships seek to promote the Irish community as well as to acknowledge student achievement.
Almost all Irish scholarships are specific to schools, meaning they won’t be awarded through national competitions. Instead, students might find Irish scholarships at the school they are choosing to attend like the Sally Hennan Endowed Scholarship from Saint Louis University or the Boland Family GU Scholarship at Georgetown University.”

That is true of the left but 100x more true of Obama. He hates US citizens in the way that ONLY an America-hating foreigner can.
