Cap Weinberger said Pollard was directly responsible for the loss of lives of people who were helping the United States in dangerous locations around the world.

You can speculate about what he was talking about.

He was livid when there was earlier talk (during Clinton) about letting Pollard go. He came out of retirement to address the topic.

Weinberger was an anti-Semite and NEVER provided any evidence to what you say he stated.

The US Govt has refused to provide any such evidence, even in camera, for Pollard’s defense lawyers to review (for his appeals).

Pollard was guilty of spying so I have not problem with him getting a stiff sentence, but Obama has been releasing our enemies by the hundreds (as well as dangerous criminals), after having served only a few years, while keeping Pollard in jail (along with the Bushes and Clinton) for almost 30 years. Even admitted Soviet spy (a-bomb) Morton Sobell got out after 13 or so years of a 30 year sentence.

There is a difference, you should know.
