I don't remember which episode he said it, but, while talking about his love of horses, iirc, Capt. Picard had one of the best lines:
"Some creatures have the capacity to fill spaces we never knew were empty."I've always liked that.
I haven’t had a horse of my own since I left home-a ranch to go to college in the city-but I can attest to the truth of that statement. I do ride with my neighbor-they have two horses-whenever the opportunity presents itself-there are trails in the woods near the river-it is very relaxing.
