I guess symbolic gestures have some importance, but wish the Senator would work on bills that actually might accomplish something. This A.) Won't pass B.) is only a resolution suggesting the Senate would like DC to rename a street, so has no official weight, so the street will never be renamed.
It is a cool idea, and it gives Ted another platform to show his heart is in the right place.
