I think what will ultimately happen is that another, more credible candidate will finally take the hint that becoming fearless, outspoken and not-PC is a winning strategy, and will run with that.
What Trump is doing now is he is kneecapping all of the consultants. And that’s a good thing.

The times always call for a leader and, in this time of stale politics and stalemated, oligarchy bought and beholden politicians, all with lifetime tenure, this leader is using a pressure washer to do some overdue spring house cleaning inside and out!
Talk about curb appeal, he's doing a great job so far! That dead rodent smell isn't quite as bad as it was, in fact, things haven't looked this good in ages.
And, hopefully, he's hosing things down with the good stuff that keeps the mold, spores, smuts and rust from coming back.

I held my nose and voted for McLmae hoping he would kick the bucket during his inauguration speech. Four years later I held my nose and voted for that B@$T@RD Romney.
If the Repubics don't run a Conservative candidate I am sitting out the National and just voting local. Voting for the lesser of two evils is still voting for evil.

Great observation. And considering how weak-kneed these "Republicans" are, a great metaphor, too.
While much of the blame for the GOP's horrendous, ineffectual campaigning can be laid at the doorstep of the consultant class, ultimately, it's the candidates themselves at fault. Those that can be so easily swayed to go along with such flawed advice speaks to their judgment--and, therefore, their capacity to lead.
In a way, these advisors do a service in that they reveal the candidates whose convictions and principles dissolve at the slightest media criticism.

I hope you're right. Better yet, I hope that fearlessness arises as an authentic by-product of the candidate's principles and character, not merely from a calculated decision that it'd be a good campaign strategy.
There are variations of evil. I could vote for a non-conservative if he opposed amnesty, protected the border, and deported illegal aliens. Present immigration policy is a sure way to destroy us. At least things like can be overturned.

Only Trump figured out that illegals and China are the top 2 main problems hurting America. the other politicians instead voted and pushed for the Obama trade agenda that also deceptively contains amnesty and massive immigration of 3rd world workers to take the jobs of Americans (”trade in services” would allow the importation of millions of 3rd world workers from any occupation into the USA).
Only Trump can save America. I had lost all hope as politicians for the last 120 years have ruined the U.S. . Now my only hope is that Trump wins. I’ve watched my friend and his wife morn over the death of their son for 5 years. I’ve watched them travel all over the country trying to get the political pukes to listen to them regarding the murder of their son by an illegal. In MINUTES Donald Trump changed everything for them. The wife spoke before a Senate Committee this week and has been in the media. I wish the husband who is a plumber was on TV saying what he thinks. If anyone believes Trump is not political correct they would pee themselves when this guy was finished. He is the kind of man who one day as we were chatting next to his truck reached in the bed and pulled out the biggest damn rattle snake I have ever seen. It was dead thank goodness. He and his son had bagged the critter on a hunting trip and he was going to have it mounted. He is a tough man but he has never been the same after his son was killed. He and his wife had to see pictures of their sons face best to a pulp and his body burned.
Trump is OK in my book, he at least acts like a man and not a metrosexual like most of the other candidates. Screw the republican establishment and the rainbow pony they rode in on!
I was harangued into voting for non-Conservatives the last two cycles and I am not going to be this time. If the repubics can’t run a Conservative candidate then they don’t want/ need my vote. The lesser of two evils is still evil.
