...Based on the erroneous information she presented, which also included claims of "heavy traffic in and out of the residence," the judge issued Autry a "no knock" search warrant.

When a SWAT team executing that warrant found the front door blocked, one of the officers tossed a flash-bang grenade inside the residence. Once inside the home, the SWAT team realized a portable playpen had been blocking the door, and the flash-bang grenade had landed where a 19-month-old was sleeping, eventually exploding on the child's pillow.

The toddler spent weeks in a burn unit in a medically induced coma.

This isn't about being charitable or getting along with my fellow freepers (for whom I hold no malice).

One of the worst problems today is the unchecked actions of various police forces around the country. Cops literally get away with murder on a regular basis, and this is because of "qualified immunity" which protects them from actions that would land the rest of us in prison for a long time if not for the rest of our lives. Let's just take a couple of recent instances and flip them around and think what would happen if a peasant (sorry, a "citizen") did the same thing to a cop that the cop did to the citizen.

Throw a grenade in a cop's house and maim the cop's toddler. Shoot a cop in the back. carelessly firing a weapon into a crowd of police killing a cop

Now if it would be wrong for any of us to do these things (and it would be wrong) why is it OK for police to do this and not face any consequences?

Autry presented an affidavit to a magistrate judge falsely swearing that a "true and reliable informant" had bought a small amount of methamphetamine at a residence.

Based on the erroneous information she presented, which also included claims of "heavy traffic in and out of the residence," the judge issued Autry a "no knock" search warrant.

When a SWAT team executing that warrant found the front door blocked, one of the officers tossed a flash-bang grenade inside the residence. Is this part of your plan to fulfill your threat to me to “not rest until you are banned from Free Republic”?

Oh my gosh, Laz. I haven't been banned yet for not hating cops!

How can you stand it?

It's like a beautiful butterfly crawled into your ear and lives there.

It's me, lol!

I'm still not resting. I shall never rest. It is my lifelong goal. My only hope. My tombstone shall read, "Yes I know. And perhaps you are right. However, I did get donna banned."

It is my only goal in life, as Christ instructs me in the New Testament: "John 13:33 - Little children, yet a little while I am with you. Ye shall seek me: and as I said unto the Jews, Whither I go, ye cannot come; so now I say to you. (34) A new commandment I give unto you, That ye get donna banned from Free Republic; as I have loved you, that she be banned forever."

Selah.

Perhaps.

However, I am 500 lbs and only 5'2".

Which poses a lot of logistical problems.
