I never saw any of this defeatist attitude toward Cruz until some became distracted by the shiny new loud thing. It's just an excuse.

Which makes Trump no better than the rest of them. We do, however, have a solid conservative in the race who actually has some integrity---Cruz. So there's no logic in dumping him to support one of the liars, as you put it.

But you're not taking a look. That's the problem. You're letting your ears be tickled by what you hear.
I would encourage conservatives to take a look at him---at his record and his past. They will see that he's a liberal Democrat.

I completely agree with all of that. But it doesn't make him fit for the presidency. It makes him useful for what he is saying right now, always keeping in mind that he's a liberal.

Of course not and it’s driving them crazy. But Trump has the money to by pass big shot donors. My prediction is in a few months Trump will have had fun playing with heads, get out and throw his support to Cruz. The first debate should be fun. If airhead Rick Perry is there to launch bombs against Trump. Hopefully Mr. 1% will not have enough support to be invited. If he’s there he’ll ruin the debates. He’ll take up all his time trashing Trump. No one needs his BS.
